Babywearing Consultation - Carriers Fitting and Exploration Terms & Conditions

1. GENERAL INFORMATION TO CLIENTS

    1. Baby Carriers Rental SG (BCRSG) carries only authentic products for babywearing education, rental and sales.

    2. All fees outlined are in Singapore Dollar (SGD) currency. 

    3. Once payment has been processed, it is deemed that you have agreed to all the terms and conditions stated below.

    4. BCRSG will not rent or sell any brand of product that has not been  through safety testing or approved by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute.

    5. All rental products have been properly checked, washed and sanitised before and after each rent for safety and cleanliness. 

2. BOOKING PROCESS

    1. BCRSG conducts consultation for fitting and/or exploration through personal, couple or group sessions. 

    2. Clients may choose to schedule either a fitting or exploration consultation, or both.

      1. A Fitting Consultation will suit clients that own existing carrier(s) and would like to focus on learning how to fit and wear their existing carrier(s) well. 

      2. An Exploration Consultation will suit clients who would like to focus on exploration of age-appropriate carriers and the education of proper baby-wearing techniques. 

    3. Our educator is certified from Germany Babywearing school whose background is a Singapore registered staff nurse with more than 15 (fifteen) years of experience.

    4. All valid bookings are to be done via: https://babycarriersrentalsg.com/collections/babywearing-consultation on a first pay, first serve basis. 

    5. Payment options available on our website are as follows:

        • Credit or Debit Card

        • GrabPay

        • PayNow to UEN (preferred option)

        • Traditional Bank Transfer.

    6. If you have questions or require additional assistance prior to reservation payment, contact us via WhatsApp at +65 9338 4306 OR use the <Need Help?> chatbox on our website. 

        • Kindly leave us your contact number (with country code) along with your message, should you prefer us returning your chat box messages via WhatsApp. 

        • If you fail to hear from us within 72 hours OR if you have urgent requests, nudge us via social media platforms (i.e Facebook or Instagram) to connect with us ASAP.

    7. Clients have the option of having the session conducted in any of the following settings:

        • BCRSG Home Office (122C SengKang East Way)

        • House Call Visit (Your Home in Singapore)

        • Online Video Call (Note: Fitting Consultation only)

3. CONSULTATION TYPES

3.1 BCRSG Home Office (skip this and go to clause 3.2 if you’re opting for house call visit)

    1. BCRSG’s Responsibilities

      1. Fitting Consultation

        1. Education of ergonomic baby-wearing techniques will be imparted to you.

        2. Proper wear of your own carrier(s) will also be taught so that you are capable of adjusting your existing carrier(s) specifically to suit yourself or partner’s physique.

      2. Exploration Consultation 

        1. Education of ergonomic baby-wearing techniques will be imparted to you.

        2. Our educator will recommend several carrier options based on your needs during the session. If you have any specific carrier brand or model in mind, please notify us 24 (twenty-four) hours prior to the session. 

        3. There is no limit to the number of carriers you can try within your session duration.

        4. There is  an ongoing special rate of quick “$5 one-piece try and rent” or “$5 one-piece try and buy” promotion in 2024 that require session to be completed within 15 minutes time frame.
        5. If you tap on the promotion in pointer 3.1.2.4 with no rental or purchase thereafter, $5 payment will not be refunded. If you decide on a rental or purchase, educator will provide you with a discount code on your next payment at the end of session.
        6. If the one-piece tryout does not fit your expectation and you wish to try other available pieces, do take note that session will automatically be converted to a full consultation to be paid end of session and our educator will remind you to have your approval before commencement.

    2. Client’s Responsibilities

      1. Please be punctual for your session.

      2. Our educator’s primary focus is on teaching and maximising your learning. You shall be responsible for your own session’s time-check diligence.

      3. Should your session extend beyond your scheduled time slot and crosses into BCRSG next client’s time slot, you agree to allow our educator to honour and prioritise BCRSG’s next client’s appointment. 

      4. If you require a session that is longer than an hour, you shall be responsible for scheduling the booking accordingly via our website.

      5. As BCRSG operates from a home office environment, you consent to having the session conducted in the presence of the educator’s family members.

      6. You shall be responsible to verify and complete all dealings and associated outstanding payments (if any) by the end of your session with BCRSG. 

      7. You agree to indemnify BCRSG against any change of mind on your part, relating to any purchase payment made during the session, as well as disputes (if any) once you and/or your accompanying attendees leave the BCRSG Home Office. 

    3. Fees and Eligible Promotions

      1. Session payments are strictly non-refundable and non-waivable under any circumstances.

  • Maximum of 2 (two) attending adults from the same household.
  • Strongly encouraged to bring your child along.
  • If you would like us to cover both fitting and exploration comprehensively, kindly book a 2-hour session.

Applies in 30-minute blocks; proration is not allowed.

Exceeding 2 adults

$15 per 30 min
  • Per additional listening and learning adult, whether participating in the fitting and exploration process or not.

Exceeding session duration

$30 per 30 min
  • Per original 2 (two) attending adults

Evening/ Weekend/ Public Holiday top up

$10 per 30 min
  • Per original 2 (two) attending adults from the same household.
  • Per attending adult if exceeding 2 (two) adults.
  • Bookings accepted on a case by case basis, subject to educator’s availability.
  • This fee is non-waivable if attending adults opted for a special rate of quick “$5 one-piece try and rent” or “$5 one-piece try and buy” promotion.

  • Applies to any carrier purchase at original retail price.
  • Up to 15 (fifteen) minutes per month via WhatsApp.
  • Only applicable for the Client who has directly purchased the product with BCRSG, and regardless of the number of children. 
  • Support ceases once the carrier has been handed down to anyone else. 

 

3. In the event that you are unable to attend your booked session, you are required to choose from any 1 (one) of the 3 (three) available options below:

          1. Reschedule your session to be held within 30 (thirty) days from your original session date. This can only be allowed once.

          2. Utilise your paid amount to offset any carrier rentals (all types) or purchases (applicable only to specific carrier brands) with BCRSG. Rental booking or carrier purchase needs to be within 90 (ninety) days from original session date.

          3. Convert your paid amount into a BCRSG Consultation Voucher which is valid for your family and friends within 6 (six) months from your original session date. This is not applicable for your own usage.

3.2 House Call Visit 

    1. BCRSG’s Responsibilities

      1. Fitting Consultation

        1. Education of ergonomic baby-wearing techniques will be imparted to you.

        2. Proper wear of your own carrier(s) will also be taught so that you are capable of adjusting your existing carrier(s) specifically to suit yourself or partner’s  physique.

      2. Exploration Consultation 

        1. Education of ergonomic baby-wearing techniques will be imparted to you.

        2. Our educator will recommend several carrier options based on your needs during the session. If you have any specific carrier brand or model in mind, please notify us prior to the session. 

        3. Carriers brought for exploration will be limited to 1 (one) big luggage of about 15 (fifteen) to 20 (twenty) carriers in total. 

    2. Client’s Responsibilities 

      1. Please be punctual for your session.

      2. Our educator’s primary focus is on teaching and maximising your learning. You shall be responsible for your own session’s time-check diligence.

      3. Should your session extend beyond your scheduled time slot and crosses into BCRSG next client’s time slot, you agree to allow our educator to honour and prioritise BCRSG’s next client’s appointment. 

      4. If you require a longer session, you shall be responsible for scheduling with our educator subject to her availability. Charges follow clause 3.2.3 (Fees and Packages).

      5. You shall be responsible to verify and complete all dealings and associated outstanding payments (if any) by the end of your session with BCRSG. 

      6. You agree to indemnify BCRSG against any change of mind on your part, relating to any purchase payment made during the session, as well as disputes (if any) after our educator leaves your house call premises. 

    3. Fees and Packages

      1. Session payments are strictly non-refundable, non-transferable and non-waivable under any circumstances.

      2. Fees and Packages are stipulated as follows for Basic (Table 1) and Premium (Table 2) packages:

3.3 Online Video Call (Fitting Consultation only)
  1. Online video call sessions shall be conducted via a mutually agreeable platform, such as WhatsApp. 
  2. BCRSG’s Responsibilities: 
    1. Education of ergonomic baby-wearing techniques will be imparted to you.
    2. Proper wear of your own carrier(s) will also be taught so that you are capable of adjusting your existing carrier(s) specifically to suit yourself or partner’s physique.
  3. Client's Responsibilities: 
    1. You should own at least 1 (one) carrier for the session to be purposeful and effective. 
    2. Please be punctual for your session.
    3. Our educator’s primary focus is on teaching and maximising your learning. You shall be responsible for your own session’s time-check diligence.
    4. Should your session extend beyond your scheduled time slot and crosses into BCRSG next client’s time slot, you agree to allow our educator to honour and prioritise BCRSG’s next client’s appointment. 
    5. You shall be responsible to verify and complete all dealings and associated outstanding payments (if any) by the end of your session with BCRSG. 
    6. You agree to indemnify BCRSG against any change of mind on your part, relating to any purchase payment made during the session, as well as disputes (if any) after the online video call session ends.
