Rental Terms & Conditions (for Tourists)

General Information

  1. BCRSG carry only authentic baby carriers and items for both rental and sales.
  2. All rental pieces are properly checked, washed and sanitised after each rent for safety and cleanliness. 
  3. We will not rent or sell any carriers or items that has expired or have not gone through safety testing.

    Process of Rental

    Baby Carrier/ Item Reservation & Payment

    1. If you would like to rent a carrier from BCRSG, please fill in this form. Availability and suitability will be responded: Baby Carrier Rental Form (In the event we did not respond by 48 hours OR for urgent requests, kindly nudge us at our social media platforms instant messaging system i.e. Facebook or Instagram to connect with us)
    2. Our company charges rental fee by per week basis. If you wish to have it otherwise, please discuss with our admin staff for special cases. Take note we are not obliged to fulfil any unique requests. Company's decision is final. 
    3. Reservation of a carrier/ item within a specific time frame is made possible by with a rental payment (provided the slot has not been taken up by other clients).
    4. We have the right to rent our carriers/ items to anyone who confirms their booking with us at a first pay first serve basis.
    5. Rest assured overlapping of baby carrier/item rental booking will not happen.
    6. Rental payment can be made via Credit or Debit Card through website through VISA or MasterCard. 
    7. Please take note for rental of new piece of baby carrier/item (if there’s availability on your request), an additional $5/week will be charged.
    8. If our fitting/rental pieces are all well booked and you only can rent a new piece (if there’s availability), an additional $5/week will be charged as well (but we will not count this if you have opted for pointer 7).
    9. If you are requesting for a specific colour/version option, a top up of $5/week will be charged too.
    10. If there are no colour/version of choice indicated, it is deemed that any colour is acceptable once payment has been made. No colour selection charge will be imposed in this instance.
    11. There is a late request charge for orders that are required to be fulfilled:
      • within 12 hours from payment time: $20
      • within 24 hours from payment time: $10
    Security Deposit
    1. There is a refundable security deposit per rental piece as shown in the table:

    2. The refundable security deposit only can be paid in SGD CASH during product handover. Currency in your own country is acceptable only if there is mutual agreement with BCRSG admin.
    3. If client wishes to make refundable security deposit payment via credit or debit card method, be informed there will be 5% payment gateway transaction fee AND international bank transfer charges during our refund back to you and that telegraphic transfer will cost from $30 SGD onwards which should be borne by client, deducted from the deposit paid.
    4. Deposit will be refunded immediately during product handover at agreed location and timing (+- 30 mins) if client paid by SGD CASH for the rent. 
    5. International Bank Transfer through our corporate account will be done within 14 working days counting from the point we received product back. We process refunds by batch and working days are based on BCRSG operational days. You may check out our Setmore calendar if you need reference of our operational days.
    6. Any defects within rental period, client has to inform admin as soon as you are in WIFI or 4G zone so as to not jeopardise the next rentee in queue.
    7. The integrity of the carriers/ items will be checked immediately for SGD CASH paying clients. Inspection will be within 72 hours (from the point we get carrier/item on hand from our delivery team) for clients who has made payment by card.
    8. We have the right to partially refund or not refund the deposit based on the following:
      • Partial refund if the baby carrier/ item has:
        • crack/ peeling on product
        • huge scratches
        • discolouration
        • permanent stain
        • missing parts
        • spoilt parts
      • No refund if baby carrier/ item:
        • Buckles or stitches are spoilt & may risk safety for next rentee
        • Wheels, joints or parts of baby stroller/ item are damaged where function of the baby item has been compromised
        • Item has trauma during rental (such as car seats that encountered accidents)
        • Lost of entire carrier/ item
      • Goodwill will be extended for minor scratches but this is subjective, thus will be dealt with on a case by case basis
    9. We will also deduct the following through refundable security deposit paid:
      • Late return fees by per day count ($5 for carriers, $8 for items)
      • Last minute decision on courier instead of self collection or return
      • Company’s rental loss for the next rentee in queue due to current rentee’s failure to return item on agreed date OR due to spoilt parts that need to be fixed thus compromising next rentee booking

    Collection of Baby Carrier/ Item (skip this if you are opting for delivery service)

    1. You may self-collect the rented item at 122C Sengkang East Way (sheltered all the way from Bakau LRT) 
    2. The first day of carrier collection is counted as Day 1. You have to return us the item by Day 7 if you are looking at one week rental, Day 14 for two weeks and Day 28 for one month rental for illustration.
    3. In the event that you are unable to collect the booked item on Day 1 that has been agreed upon, rental still starts on that day. However, as long as the item is not reserved after your rental period, we can review on a case-by-case basis.
    4. Proper product usage will be taught on the day of collection (kept within 10 minutes), otherwise, you can request for an official video to be sent for your reference.
    5. During product handover, our company will take the responsibility to alert client of any parts or minor functions that fell short which require attention. Once mutually agreeable and handed over, it is deemed client has accepted the rented product is in expected functionality and condition. Any malfunction, defect or missing part found in the rented carrier/ item out of the discussed will not be acknowledged

    Courier of Baby Carrier/ Item (Tourists' preferred method)

    1. Product delivery is made possible in the event when client cannot find a mutually agreeable day and time to meet our team up for collection/return. However, cost is to be borne by client at a flat rate of $10/trip for baby/toddler carrier, and $15/trip for baby item. Proper stroller usage will be taught during delivery on request. 
    2. Multiple items per trip may incur extra charge if size or weight exceeds certain requirement, please contact admin for more info. 
    3. Upon receipt of rented carrier/item, if there is any product quality that has fall short of your expectations, client has to alert our delivery team on the spot. Otherwise, our company has the right to not acknowledge any defect, malfunction or missing parts once handed over.
    4. In the event of a failed courier trip (e.g. no one is available to receive delivered product or failure to provide product during return pickup), client may have to bear the cost of the failed delivery.
    5. If client would like to arrange for own delivery service (e.g. a friend who resides locally is collecting on behalf of you), please note that responsibility is to be borne by client if item is lost or damaged during the transition.
    6. Similar to self collection, the day of product receipt will be considered as Day 1 and the carrier has to return by the return date agreed upon.
    7. Please take note client is encouraged to alert us a day before last day of the agreed rental date with regards to whether the rented product is ready for collection the following day. If there is no prompt from rentee, BCRSG will deem it as late return/ auto rental extension.
    8. For clients who has flight delayed or decided to stay in Singapore longer: Rented item cannot be extended unless you have approval from BCRSG admin. Fulfilment team should not be the one liasing on this. 

    Return of Baby Carrier/ Item

    1. Rental piece is supposed to be returned to us by hand, through friend/family member or through our fulfilment team (if you opted for delivery). Kindly alert to check our presence before sending the item over if you are facilitating return on your own.
    2. Washing of baby carrier or item is not required before returning to us if no huge event has occurred during rental. Rest assured we do our own proper cleaning after each return. However, if your child vomit or pass motion on the product, please take responsibility to clean them up or you might need to pay for the professional washing that we will be sending the carrier/item to. Remember to inform us prior if there are such episodes during the rent.
    3. You are encouraged to keep to the rental dates agreed upon. Late return of product will be charged at $5/piece/day for baby/toddler carriers while other products such as Strollers, Car Seats, Travel Cots, SlumberPod or BedBox will be charged at $8/piece/day.
    4. Our company is not responsible to remind you on the product return
    5. If subsequent rental is compromised due to client’s late return of rented product, client will have to compensate for the loss of rental.
    6. Extension of product rental is only possible when there are no bookings after client rental period.
    7. Please inform our team if your product (i.e. car seat) has met into any accidents. Product that has gone through some trauma will render it invalid for future use for the safety of others.
    8. If you would like to purchase a new baby carrier/item after rental before flying back to your home country, please alert us and we will inform you the available colour options or designs accordingly.

    Exchange / Postponement 

    1. In the event of an exchange or postponement of rental item before starting rent, it will be based on availability.
    2. If an exchange or postponement can be done, it will only be allowed once.
    3. All exchange will incur a $10 admin cost.
    4. Client is only allowed to exchange rented product to another of equal or lower rental rate (subject to availability) and the difference in rental fee will not be refunded.
    5. Client may exchange to a product of higher rental rate only if they are available, but topping up the difference is required.
    6. The moment rental commenced at 00:01 hour SGT on agreed rental start date, exchange is not allowed.
    7. If client insists on an exchange for whatever reason once rental has commenced, paid rental fee will be forfeited and new rental item fee will be recalculated for payment.
    8. For postponement prior to rental commencement, it will only be allowed if new rental start date is within 3 months period from the initial first day of rental no matter the reason. If not, rental fee paid will also be forfeited.
    9. If it is due to any health reasons that client can produce a medical certificate, postponement can be extended to 6 months from the initial first day of rental.


    1. There is a strict no cancellation rule for tourists. No rental refund request will be entertained if you have decided to give up the rental on the period agreed prior. We encourage you to bring forward the rental to your next Singapore holiday instead.
    2. If client is uncontactable through emails, social media messaging, WhatsApp or phone call collectively at least 5 prompts from us after rental payment to facilitate logistics planning, we will also forfeit the amount paid.
